Abstract

Research, communication for inheriting the ancient the buddha image boat procession tradition The objectives were: 1) to study the meaning of the ancient the buddha image boat procession Tradition 2) to study the communication patterns and processes to carry on the ancient the buddha image boat procession  tradition, and 3) to study the social, economic and technological factors related to the succession of the ancient the buddha image boat procession  tradition. This is a qualitative research that collects information from documents and related research. In-depth interviews, observations, group discussions and community The main informants were government groups, village philosophers. local leader family members By using the method of selecting specific data providers according to the purpose (Purposive Sampling)

The research found that. The ancient the buddha image boat procession  tradition originated from belief in Buddhism. Inheriting old traditions and enhancing the unity of people in the community 2. Forms and processes of communication: There are 3 phases: 1) The preparation period for the traditional festival means participant communication in the communication planning process at every stage. It is formal and informal communication, there are one-way and two-way communication. using both verbal and non-verbal languages and the flow of news both from top to bottom horizontal plane and from bottom to top 2) during the preparation of the festival It's an informal communication. There is one-way and two-way communication. using both verbal and non-verbal languages and the flow of news Both from top to bottom, horizontal plane 3) After the traditional event It's a formal communication. Two-way communication using both verbal and non-verbal languages and has a bottom-up flow of information. 3. Social, economic and technological changes are not only negative. But the change in technology has also had a positive effect. make communication convenient especially promptly inviting them to join the tradition
