Abstract

Retention to Enhance the Stability and Sustainability of Educational Organizations. examines the approaches and factors influencing teacher retention to provide practical insights for educational administrators in applying effective retention strategies within their institutions. Teacher retention is recognized as a crucial mechanism that directly contributes to the stability and long-term sustainability of educational organizations. As teachers are the primary human resource responsible for enhancing student learning quality, retaining knowledgeable, competent, and organizationally committed teachers is of paramount importance. This study discusses the meaning, significance, influencing factors, approaches to teacher retention, and the role of administrators in maintaining teacher continuity within organizations. The findings indicate that teacher retention plays a vital role in educational organizational development by reducing problems related to teacher transfers and resignations, thereby ensuring smooth and stable school operations. The key factors affecting teacher retention include organizational commitment, work environment, job satisfaction, leadership of administrators, and teacher participation within the school. Furthermore, teacher retention strategies can be implemented at three levels are individual, group, and organizational. Particularly, administrators who demonstrate visionary leadership, fairness, welfare support, and participatory management practices can effectively enhance teachers’ motivation, morale, and professional pride. These elements foster a strong sense of organizational commitment, encourage teacher continuity, and ultimately lead to the sustainable improvement of educational quality.
