Strategic Leadership of School Administrators under the Nong Khai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract
This research article aims to Study 1) to investigate the levels of strategic leadership among school administrators under the Nong Khai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and 2) to compare these leadership levels based on gender, educational attainment, and work experience. The research sample consisted of 285 participants, including school administrators and teachers, determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table and selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire featuring both a checklist and a 5-point Likert scale, yielding a reliability coefficient of 0.720. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as inferential statistics comprising Independent Samples t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Scheffé’s post-hoc comparison.
The research results were found as follows: Overall, school administrators within the Nong Khai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 exhibit a strategic leadership at a high level. Regarding specific dimensions, the highest-rated component is high-order understanding and conceptual thinking, followed by vision formulation and the application of various factors toward strategy development. Conversely, the dimension with the lowest mean score is revolutionary thinking. The comparative analysis reveals a statistically significant difference in strategic leadership based on gender at the .05 level. Nevertheless, when categorized by educational attainment and professional experience, no statistically significant differences were observed in the overall picture.
