Ethical Leadership Behavior of Female Administrators Affecting the Administration Efficiency of Secondary Schools under the Nonthaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) examine the ethical leadership behaviors of female administrators in secondary schools under the Nonthaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office, 2) study the administrative effectiveness of these schools, and 3) investigate the impact of female administrators’ ethical leadership behaviors on administrative effectiveness. The sample comprised 327 respondents from 18 secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Nonthaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office. Participants included 18 school directors, 18 deputy directors, 18 heads of learning subject groups, and 273 teaching staff, selected based on Krejcie and Morgan's sample size table. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a statistical software package, employing frequency, percentage, mean (X), standard deviation (S.D.), and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient was used to test multicollinearity among independent variables before conducting the regression analysis.
The findings revealed that:
1.The overall level of ethical leadership behavior among female administrators was very high (X= 4.51, S.D. = 0.10). Specifically, two dimensions integrity and fairness were rated the highest, while trustworthiness and moral leadership were at a high level.
2.The overall administrative effectiveness of the schools was high (X= 4.49, S.D. = 0.11), with vision and instructional management receiving the highest scores, followed by learning organization development, personnel capacity building, and results-oriented administration.
3.Four ethical leadership dimensions fairness, trustworthiness, integrity, and moral leadership jointly predicted 59.3% of the variance in administrative effectiveness (R² = 0.593). The multiple regression equations were: Raw score prediction: Y’ = .828 + .256(X3) + .331(X4) + .202(X2) Standardized score prediction: Z’ = .352(X3) + .389(X4) + .256(X2)
