PEOPLE’S PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL DEVELOPMENT: A STUDY OF SA KHU SUB-DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, SUWANNAPHUM DISTRICT, ROI ET PROVINCE

Abstract

Research on People's Participation in Local Development: A Case Study of Administrative Organizations Sa Khu Subdistrict Suvarnabhumi Roi Et Province The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of people's participation in local development: a case study of the Saku Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Suvarnabhumi Roi Et Province 2) To compare people's participation in local development: a case study of Saku Subdistrict Administrative Organization Suvarnabhumi Roi Et Province with different gender, age, education level, income, occupation and position in the community by using qualitative and quantitative research methods together. Quantitative research Population is people aged 18 years and over. There are a total of 21 villages and a total population of 9,610 people. and use a qualitative data analysis method with content analysis. The quantitative part was analyzed by descriptive statistics, percentage, mean and standard deviation.

          The research results

1) People's participation in the local development of Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization Suvarnabhumi Roi Et Province Overall, it is moderate. when considering each aspect, the aspect with the highest average ranking was participation in decision making, followed by benefit participation. Participation in operations and participation in the respective evaluation

          2) People's participation in the local development of Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization Suvarnabhumi Roi Et Province with different genders and occupations Participation in local development is no different. As for people with different ages and monthly incomes Participate in different local developments statistically significant at 0.01 level
