THE PARTICIPATION OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT IN HORA DISTRICT, ATSAMAT DISTRICT, ROI-ET PROVINCE

Abstract

The research was “The Participation of Youth Development in Hora District, Atsamat District, Roi-et Province, Thailand” The objectives of this study were 1) to study the problem of youth in Hora District, Atsamat District, Roi-et Province, and 2) to study the participation of youth development in Hora District, Atsamat District, Roi-et Province. The qualitative research method was used for this research. There were 95 participants such as students, teachers, parents and community leaders. The results of the study were found that the problems of youth in District are technology addiction, violence and drug. It also included the skipping class. Moreover, the results further revealed that the people in the District should join the responsibility through five processes. As such, the 1st process was to break the ice by using activities. The 2nd process was to create the perceptions from the stakeholder in District. The 3rd process was to barnstorm from the stakeholder in District regarding to the youth’s cause and effect. The 4 th process was to barnstorm in order to find the solutions. The 5th process was to organize the Youth Development committees.
