Abstract

This academic article aims to study the current state, develop a model, and evaluate the feasibility of school administration in creating a sustainable learning environment. This is crucial for transforming schools into systems conducive to the development of 21st-century learners. The research was conducted using a Research and Development (R&D) model. The sample consisted of 320 school administrators and teachers, obtained through stratified random sampling. The instruments used included a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire and a model evaluation form. The statistical methods used for data analysis included mean, standard deviation, and content analysis for qualitative data.

The analysis revealed that the overall current state of school administration in creating a sustainable learning environment is at a moderate level. The developed management model comprises four key components: green visionary leadership, development of integrated physical and digital learning spaces, creation of a learning culture, and building networks with the community. The overall evaluation of the model showed it to be highly appropriate, feasible, and beneficial. The research recommends that schools should accelerate the development of physical infrastructure coupled with the use of technology to support sustainable learning in the long term.
