Parental and Community Engagement in Enhancing Educational Quality

This article examines the conceptual frameworks, roles, and strategies for fostering parental and community involvement in educational quality enhancement. Such engagement serves as a vital mechanism for elevating institutional efficiency and ensuring sustainable student learning. Utilizing documentary analysis, the study synthesizes national and international educational theories, concepts, and policies.
The analysis highlights three key findings: 1. Enhancement of School Management Efficiency: Active participation in planning and administration promotes organizational transparency and ensures that school management aligns precisely with local community needs. 2. Improvement of Student Achievement: Close collaboration between home and school directly supports student learning, reinforces positive behaviors, and elevates academic performance. 3. Establishment of Sustainable Educational Networks: Two-way communication and a culture of participation foster a sense of ownership, transforming the community into a dynamic and integrated learning environment. The article recommends that educational institutions implement proactive communication mechanisms and cultivate robust partnership networks to empower all stakeholders as essential partners in the holistic development of learners.
