THE The Influence of Management Practices on Employees’ Work Motivation in a Private Company

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the management practices affecting employees’ work motivation in a private company and to examine the level of employees’ work motivation. The sample consisted of 193 employees. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.776. Data were analyzed using statistical software. Descriptive statistics included percentage, mean, and standard deviation, while inferential statistics included the Independent Samples t-test.

Research Findings

            The overall management practices affecting employees’ work motivation were found to be at the highest level. The management dimensions, including planning, organizing, commanding, coordinating, and controlling, were all rated at the highest level. Similarly, employees’ work motivation was also found to be at the highest level across all dimensions, including salary, interpersonal relationships, organizational policies and administration, working conditions, personal life, job security, and supervisory practices. These findings suggest that effective management practices and favorable motivational factors contribute significantly to enhancing employees’ motivation and performance in the workplace.
