A INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SCHOOLS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE KHON KAEN

Abstract
This study was conducted with the following objectives: 1) to examine the level of innovative leadership among school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Khon Kaen; 2) to investigate the level of school effectiveness under the same office; 3) to determine the relationship between innovative leadership of school administrators and school effectiveness; and 4) to identify innovative leadership factors predicting school effectiveness under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Khon Kaen. The population consisted of 84 school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Khon Kaen. Questionnaires were returned from 78 respondents, representing a response rate of 92.86%. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data was analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results revealed that: 1) the overall level of innovative leadership among school administrators was at a high level; 2) the overall level of school effectiveness was at a high level; 3) innovative leadership was positively correlated with school effectiveness in all dimensions at a statistically significant level of .01; and 4) Predictive Equation of Innovative Leadership of School Administrators Affecting School Effectiveness Under the Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The innovative leadership of school administrators under the Khon Kaen Secondary Educational Service Area Office yielded a predictive power of 76.30%, from which predictive equations in both unstandardized and standardized score forms were constructed as follows:

Standardized equation:
Ẑ = .504X₃ + .465X₁ + .297X₅ − .301X₂
