Abstract

Abstract : This research aimed to: 1) Develop an active learning approach integrating the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the digital literacy skills of secondary school students under the Phitsanulok–Uttaradit Secondary Educational Service Area Office. 2) Compare students’ learning achievement before and after participating in active learning activities using AI to develop digital literacy skills. 3) Study the satisfaction of Mathayom 5 (Grade 11) students at Ban Krang Wittayakom School regarding the active learning activities using AI to enhance digital literacy skills. The sample consisted of 38 Mathayom 5 students from Ban Krang Wittayakom School. The research tools included: 1) The active learning lessons integrating AI for digital literacy development. 2) The quality assessment form. 3) The learning achievement test. 4) The student satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation, data werw analyzed using a Dependent Samples t-test. Research Findings: 1) The developed active learning approach integrating AI to enhance digital literacy was rated by experts as highly appropriate, with an overall mean score of 4.57 and a standard deviation of 0.33 2)The students’ post-test learning achievement scores were significantly higher than their pre-test scores at the .05 level. 3) The students’ overall satisfaction with the active learning activities integrating AI was rated at the highest level, with an overall mean score of 4.71 and a Standard deviation of 0.24.
