Leadership and Community Strength Inpreparing Local Development Plans: A Case Study Banbo Subdistrict Administrative Organization Mueang Samut Sakhon District Samut Sakhon Province

Abstract

This research objective was to study the opinions about leadership in the preparation of local development planning for the strength of the community and to study the relationship between the leadership and the community strength in preparing the local development plan of the Banbo Subdistrict Administrative Organization of Mueang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province. This research was a quantitative research. The population in this research was 8,681 people in Banbo Subdistrict Mueang Samut Sakhon District Samut Sakhon Province. The sample size was determined by using the group calculation formula. The sample size of Taro Yamane was 382 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire and the data was analyzed using a ready-made computer program. The statistics used in the research were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test One-Way ANOVA. The first finding revealed that 1) Most people in the area of Banbo Subdistrict Administrative Organization Mueang Samut Sakhon District Samut Sakhon Province were 31-40-year-old and maritai female with a low education level. They obtained a bachelor degree, working as employees of private companies/employees. They have lived in the area for 7-9 years. Their monthly average monthly income is 20,001-30,000 baht and are the local citizen. 2) Finding was that the level of opinion about the leadership of the community in the preparation of the local development plan of the Banbo Subdistrict Administrative Organization Mueang Samut Sakhon District Samut Sakhon Province was at a high level. 3) The strength of the community in planning was at a high level. 4) The last finding was that the relationship between the leadership and the community strength.
