About the Journal

Aims and Scope

We welcome scholars and researchers to submit manuscripts in the form of research articles, academic articles, review articles, and book reviews. The journal publishes works in the following areas:

  • Anthropology
  • Communication Studies
  • Education and Language Teaching
  • Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Languages and Culture
  • Linguistics and Applied Linguistics
  • Literature
  • Philosophy
  • Social and Local Development
  • Tourism and Other Service Industries
  • Other related fields in the humanities and social sciences

Types of Manuscripts

  • Research Articles: maximum 10,000 words (including references, tables, and appendices)
  • Academic Articles and Review Articles: maximum 7,000 words (including references, tables, and appendices)
  • Book Reviews: maximum 2,000 words (including references)

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts (except book reviews) undergo a double-blind peer review process and are evaluated by two to three expert reviewers in the relevant field.

The journal publishes two issues annually:

  • Issue 1: January–June
  • Issue 2: July–December

Article Processing Charge (APC)

VOICES AND VISIONS: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 4,500 THB per manuscript. This fee is applicable only after the manuscript has passed the initial review by the editorial board.
(No publication fee is required for book reviews.)

* Please note that if a manuscript is rejected at any stage of the review process, the journal reserves the right not to refund the APC under any circumstances.

** Official receipts are issued manually. If you require the original receipt, please notify us and provide your complete mailing address for EMS delivery. The journal will arrange express delivery to ensure prompt receipt of the document.
