Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by any other journal or publication medium.
  • 2. The submission file must be prepared strictly using the official journal template.
  • 3. The submission file should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  • 4. The text adheres strictly to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements, specifically the American Psychological Association (APA 7th Edition) style, as detailed in the Author Guidelines.
  • 5. All submitted manuscripts will be rigorously checked for plagiarism (including self-plagiarism) and will have less than 30% according to Turnitin. Submissions found to contain ghost references, phantom references, or illicit references will be subject to immediate rejection.
  • 6. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools must be explicitly declared by the authors. Text similarity will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and submissions with a high proportion of AI-generated text may be rejected.
  • 7. The author(s) assume sole responsibility for all data and content appearing in the manuscript, including the accuracy of facts, language usage, terminology, figures, and references. The Journal and its Editorial Board do not necessarily endorse the opinions or conclusions stated in the articles and shall not be held liable for any damages or consequences arising from inaccuracies presented by the authors.
  • 8. Copyright of all published articles belongs to VOICES AND VISIONS: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences. No part of these articles may be reproduced, republished for commercial purposes, or redistributed in their original format without prior written permission from the journal.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to this journal for consideration within the humanities and social sciences disciplines must represent original, unpublished work and must not be under concurrent review by any other publication medium. The publication process mandates a rigorous double-blind peer-review to ensure academic quality and integrity. Submission of a manuscript implicitly confirms that all authors have secured the requisite authority for publication and that the final version, if accepted, will not be re-published elsewhere—in the same form or another language—without the explicit consent of the Editor-in-Chief. While the journal facilitates the scholarly discourse, the authors retain full responsibility for the accuracy of their data, the validity of their conclusions, and any potential errors contained within the submitted paper. The journal explicitly disclaims liability for the views and conclusions presented by the contributing authors.

Submission Document Preparation

Authors are required to fully format their manuscript in strict adherence to the official Journal Template provided. The complete manuscript must be submitted concurrently with the fully executed Submission Form. Failure to submit complete documentation or a manuscript not formatted according to the template may result in a delay in the review process.

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with The Journal agree to the following terms:

  1.  By submitting the article, the authors agree to waive certain rights of control over the dissemination of their work in accordance with the journal’s policies.
  2. Upon acceptance of the article, authors agree to transfer the copyright of the article to the journal, including the rights to reproduce, distribute, and communicate the article in all forms and media.
  3. Authors retain the rights to use their articles for scholarly purposes, such as teaching, inclusion in a thesis or dissertation, and sharing on non-commercial platforms.
  4. This journal offers articles under a Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which allows others to share and adapt the work as long as proper attribution is given to the original authors.
  5. The authors confirm that they have obtained all necessary permissions to use third-party materials, such as content, images, or graphics, which are copyrighted by others, and have provided appropriate credit.
  6. Copyright of all published articles belongs to VOICES AND VISIONS: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences. No part of these articles may be reproduced, republished for commercial purposes, or redistributed in their original format without prior written permission from the journal.

 

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 4,500 THB per manuscript. No publication fee is charged for book reviews. The APC becomes payable only after the manuscript has successfully passed the initial editorial screening.

Please note that the APC is non-refundable if a manuscript is rejected or withdrawn after payment at any stage of the editorial or peer-review process. Official receipts are issued manually upon request. Authors requiring an original receipt should notify the editorial office and provide their complete mailing address for EMS delivery.
