The Development of an Electronic Book on Safe Use of Information Technology for Mathayomsuksa 2 Students at Wat Pho Thong School.

Abstract

         The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop an e-book on the safe use of information technology for Mathayomsuksa 2 of Wat Pho Thong School to be effective according to the 80/80 criteria; 2) to compare the academic achievement before and after school of students who studied with e-books; and 3) to study students' satisfaction with e-book. The research tools included 1) e-book, 2) learning management plan on the safe use of information technology, 3) achievement test, 4) learner satisfaction questionnaire, which is a tool for research and analysis of data using mean, standard deviation (S.D.), E₁/E₂ performance, and hypothesis tests (t-test).
          The results showed that the effectiveness of e-book on the safe use of information technology for Mathayomsuksa 2  of Wat Pho Thong School was 81.56/83.50. The students' learning achievement after using the e-book was significantly higher than before the lesson at the .05 level of significance. Overall, the students' satisfaction with the e-book was at the highest level.
