KULIB KPIs: A Performance Indicator Management and Reporting System to Support Strategic Management at Kasetsart University Library
Main Article Content
Abstract
The development of the Key Performance Indicators Storage and Reporting System for Kasetsart University Library (KULIB KPIs) aims to improve the efficiency of key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring and reporting, establish a systematic repository for performance data, and assess user satisfaction. The system was developed following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), comprising six phases: planning and analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The system workflow was designed based on the SIPOC Model framework to comprehensively address stakeholders, inputs, processes, outputs, and system beneficiaries. The system development adopted a low-code approach using Microsoft Power Platform to enhance flexibility and reduce development time. The results indicate that the system accurately stores, calculates, and reports key performance indicators, reduces data redundancy and errors, increases monitoring and reporting speed, and supports executive access to information for systematic, timely oversight. Overall user satisfaction was rated as good (mean score = 4.38), indicating that the system successfully achieved its objectives and effectively supports the strategic management of the University Library.
