NongLifelong: AI Smart Agent at KMITL Lifelong Learning Center
Main Article Content
Abstract
“NongLifelong” to enhance information services and learning innovations at the KMITL Lifelong Learning Center (KLLC). The methodology integrates the Kaizen philosophy and Design Thinking principles with an agent-based AI architecture. It utilizes a self-hosted n8n platform on an Ubuntu server as the central engine for workflow automation. The system seamlessly connects with Google Drive, Google Calendar, Supabase Vector Store, and a Large Language Model through the Retrieval-Augmented
Generation (RAG) technique. This setup facilitates contextual communication via Web Chat and Line Official channels. Evaluation results demonstrate that this innovation significantly reduces response times from hours to just seconds, improves data accuracy, and enhances the overall user experience by providing convenient access to information about courses, activities, and relevant skills. Ultimately, this study establishes a prototype framework for scaling intelligent services across libraries and educational institutions in the future.
