Development of a Search and Tracking System for Lost Items on the “KLLC Lost and Found” Application, Catering to Users of All Ages at the KMITL Lifelong Learning Center

Abstract

King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang Lifelong Learning Center (KLLC) is committed to serving as a hub for lifelong learning. It provides an environment that promotes continuous education and helps individuals of all ages enhance their essential skills. However, the issue of lost items within the facility

affects users' ability to learn effectively. To address this problem, the "KLLC Lost and Found" application was developed.

This application is a centralized platform for reporting and tracking lost items, reducing delays and errors in the search process. It significantly increases the chances of quickly and efficiently returning lost items to their rightful owners. Users can search for, report, or check the status of lost items through the application, which is built using AppSheet and accessible on mobile devices, tablets, and computers via the website. This ensures convenience for users of all ages, enhances the efficiency of lost item searches and management, improves service quality, and reduces search time from five minutes to just one minute. Ultimately, it strengthens KLLC's reputation as a sustainable learning center for everyone.
