The development of reference and bibliography format of Mahasarakham University for user by using the EndNote Program

Abstract

This study aimed at developing of reference and bibliography format of Mahasarakham University for user by using Endnote Program. The study sample included 9 experts for developing of reference and bibliography format assessment, and 140 users for studying user satisfaction of reference and bibliography format of Mahasarakham University. The collected data were analyzed by means and standard deviation. The research findings revealed that: 1. The developed reference and bibliography format was MSU that use for both Thai and English and 12 types of information resources. For using this format, the user should have basic knowledge about the components of the various types of information resources. Besides if the user attend a training, they will be able use the MSU program effectively. For appropriateness assessment of the program by experts, it showed that their opinion were at a high level. 2. The user satisfaction to reference and bibliography format of Mahasarakham University for user by using Endnote Program was at a highest level. When each aspect were considered, it found that convenience and quickness of reference and bibliography format arranging by using Endnote Program were at a highest level. The second aspect was usefulness of Endnote Program and instruction from librarian.
