Development approach of dual vocational education system management of Sukhothai Vocational College

Abstract

This research aims to: Study the dual vocational education system management of Sukhothai Vocational College. Propose guidelines for the development of Dual Vocational Education System Management of Sukhothai Vocational College. This research used 70 people as samples. The samples included school administrators, teachers in educational institutions and teachers in the workplace. The research used a specific method called Purposive Sampling. A questionnaire was used as a research instrument. The questionnaire consisted of four questions in different areas as follows: 1) The quality of learners and graduates 2) The quality of teaching and learning 3) The quality of management and 4) Cooperation between educational institutions and enterprises. The statistics used in the analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The result of the research showed that: Overall, the Dual Vocational Educational System Management of Sukhothai Vocational College was at a good level. The guidelines for the development of the Dual Vocational Education System Management of Sukhothai Vocational College in terms of its four different areas can be proposed as follows: 1) As for the quality of learners and/or graduates, it is best to increase and develop the students’ preparedness capabilities. The Dual Vocational Educational System Management will help the students before entering the labor market. 2) The quality of teaching and learning of the personnel should be developed through brush up course training so they can keep up with the advancement in technology and course updates according to professional standards to meet the demands and needs of the market in the New Normal era. 3) The quality of management can be determined by making up-to-date action plans and annual plans to develop the educational system through Dual Vocational Education System Management suitable to the new ways of life. 4) It is essential to have a cooperation between the educational institution and enterprises in order for both parties to share valuable knowledge and skills, expand the network and strengthen cooperation for the development of a systematic and efficient program like the Dual Vocational Education System Management which is vital for students’ progress.
