Publication Policy and Scope
To promote and support opportunities for faculty members, academics, researchers, university students, and interested individuals to publish academic and research works in the field of Thai social studies and related disciplines, The Thai Social Studies Journal serves as an academic platform for knowledge exchange—a space of wisdom for the nation. The journal aims to be a central venue for academic dialogue in Thai social studies and related sciences. It welcomes contributions in the form of academic articles, research papers, and analytical essays that creatively address the needs of Thai society in the following categories:
📚 Category: Philosophy, Beliefs, Religion, Morality, and Ethics in Thailand
🌏 Category: Citizenship, Culture, and Lifestyles in Thai Society
💼 Category: Economics, Business Administration, and Management in Thailand
🏛️ Category: History and Archaeology in Thailand
🌋 Category: Geography, Geology, Environment, and Demography in Thailand
🔗 Category: Integrated Social Studies in Thailand
📘 Category: Curriculum and Instruction in Social Studies in Thailand
Article Review Process
Each submitted manuscript undergoes evaluation by at least three peer reviewers who are experts in relevant fields. All articles must receive editorial approval prior to publication. The review process follows a Double-Blind Peer Review format, in which reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other.
Articles must have a plagiarism rate not exceeding 15%, verified using the CopyCatch tool in the ThaiJo system.

Languages Accepted for Publication
The journal accepts articles in both Thai and English. All manuscripts should use clear, concise, and academically appropriate language.

The journal is published three times per year:

Journal Ownership
Thai Journal of Social Studies is the official owner and publisher of The Thai Social Studies Journal. The journal operates under multiple funding sources, allowing it to maintain high publishing standards through a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and credibility of published work.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
Currently, no article processing or publication fees are charged. As the journal is undergoing development to apply for inclusion in the Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) database, all submissions are processed free of charge during this phase.
Copyright and Licensing
Thai Journal of Social Studies places great importance on copyright protection and licensing to ensure that authors can publish their work appropriately while promoting openness, accessibility, and proper citation.
Authors retain the copyright of their articles. All published works are released under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits sharing, adaptation, and redistribution of the work as long as proper credit is given.
Publishing under this license encourages broad reuse and dissemination of scholarly work. Authors are also supported in depositing their articles in third-party repositories, with clear terms regarding copyright rights and obligations.
