Development of an Inventory Material Management Dashboard to Support Sustainable Budget Management

Abstract

Effective management of inventory materials is essential for supporting the operational functions and service delivery of public agencies and large organizations. However, monitoring and analyzing material withdrawals often encounters challenges such as complex data structures, lack of clarity, and the absence of real-time updates, which can lead to delays and inaccuracies in budget-related decision-making. This development project aims to create a Dashboard system utilizing data visualization tools to present material withdrawal information in a structured, comprehensible, and real-time manner. The findings indicate that the Dashboard enhances access to in-depth information, enables trend analysis, and improves the accuracy of monitoring material usage. As a result, budget allocation becomes more efficient, redundant tasks are reduced, and transparency in material management is strengthened. Moreover, the Dashboard supports a shift in staff roles from data compilation to strategic data analysis. This study demonstrates that adopting a Dashboard system can serve as a key approach for modernizing budget management and human resource utilization in public organizations, promoting transparency, efficiency, and alignment with principles of good governance.
