GUIDELINES FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY OF WORKING LIFE OF EMPLOYEES IN ELECTRONIC COMPANIES IN THE INDUSTRIAL ESTATES IN THE CENTRAL REGION

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the human resource management of employees in electronic companies in industrial estates in the central region; 2) study the quality of work life of employees in electronic companies in industrial estates in the central region; 3) study the human resource development of employees in electronic companies in industrial estates in the central region; and 4) study approaches to human resource management and development to improve the quality of life of employees in electronic companies in industrial estates in the central region. The sample consisted of 400 employees of electronic companies in industrial estates in the central region and 15 executives. Data were collected using questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, percentages, means, standard deviations, and multiple regression analysis were used.

The results revealed that: 1) employees' overall perceptions of human resource management were high; 2) employees' perceptions of employees' quality of work life were high. The overall level of feedback was high. 3) The level of opinions regarding human resource development of employees in electronic companies in the Central Region industrial estates; and 4) the approach to managing and developing human resources to improve employee quality of life. It was found that the external environment plays a significant role in determining the quality of work life of employees in electronic companies, including economic, social, and technological conditions. This was to identify management and development approaches to employee quality of work life. Executives from various organizations expressed the same viewpoint: the company recognizes the importance of quality of work life for employees in the electronic industry, which does not conflict with the management policies and principles established by each organization, emphasizing both employee quality and work effectiveness.
