Abstract

This article aims to propose a framework for developing educational institutions towards excellence by applying the Buddhist concept of Tri-sikkha, which includes Sila (moral discipline), Samadhi (concentration), and Panna (wisdom), as ethical foundations for effective and sustainable school management. The study interprets these principles in an educational leadership context: Sila represents the cultivation of organizational culture and ethical governance; Samadhi reflects stable, mindful leadership and focused management; and Panna embodies insightful decision-making based on data and contextual understanding. The approach emphasizes collaboration among administrators, teachers, students, communities, and networks to foster holistic development.

The findings suggest that integrating Tri-sikkha into school administration supports not only academic achievement but also the nurturing of moral values, strategic management, and comprehensive learning outcomes. This balanced approach leads schools towards sustainable excellence, preparing learners to thrive both intellectually and ethically in a changing world.
