A STUDY OF CONFLICT MANAGEMENT AMONG EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE NAKHON RATCHASIMA PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 2 OFFICE

Abstract

The purposes of this research were (1) to study of conflict management of administrators and (2) to Compare conflict management among school administrators. The sample group consisted of 117 school administrators selected based on Krejcie and Morgan’s sample size determination table, using stratified random sampling. The data providers included one school administrator and two teachers per school, totaling 351 respondents. The research instrument was a standardized questionnaire with a five-point rating scale. The index of item-objective congruence (IOC) was 1.00 for all items, and the overall reliability of the questionnaire was 0.96. Data were analyzed using statistical software. The statistical methods used included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. The research findings revealed that:

           1) Conflict management of administrators was overall at a high level. The aspect ranked at the top was that of compromise next is acceptance. The lowest average aspect was avoiding.

           2) Comparisons of Conflict management of administrators classified by gender were not differences in overall and specific aspects, classified by school size. Overall, there is a significant difference. When considering specific aspects, the competition and collaboration dimensions show statistically significant differences at the .05 level. differs based on their years of work experience. does not differ overall. However, when considered by aspect, avoidance shows a statistically significant difference at the .05 level.
