The book "The Laws of Awakening" is a work by Ryuho Okawa, the founder and president of the Happy Science Foundation in Japan. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he began his career at a major trading company. While working at the company’s New York branch, he pursued further studies and earned a master’s degree in finance from New York University. Later, he made the life-changing decision to leave the business world and establish Happy Science (or Kofuku no Kagaku in Japanese), an organization dedicated to spreading knowledge and hosting seminars focused on the pursuit of happiness for people from all walks of life.
