Abstract

MCU Suranaree Journal Vol. 2, Issue 3 (September–December 2024) features a collection of academically and educationally valuable articles and research. Notable contributions include research on creating engaging classroom environments to prevent boredom among students, activities fostering teachers' happiness in their roles, and the integration of information technology into educational management in schools. These insights contribute to mutual happiness and development for both teachers and students. The issue also includes articles on leadership, the practice of mindfulness to alleviate depression, and profound teachings derived from the four Buddhist pilgrimage sites, offering knowledge beneficial for personal and societal well-being, leading to a joyful life.

The cover of this issue highlights Phimai Historical Park, located in Phimai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. This majestic Khmer temple, constructed in the Baphuon style, is one of the largest and most beautiful in Thailand. Built during the reign of King Suryavarman I in the 11th century, it originally served as a Hindu shrine but was later converted to Mahayana Buddhism under King Jayavarman VII. The name "Phimai" is believed to be derived from "Vimaya" or "Vimayapura," as recorded in Khmer inscriptions on a stone slab at the temple’s entrance.
