Guidelines for organizing learning activities and participation in the operation of an appropriate school for the elderly in Bang Somboon Subdistrict, Ongkharak District, Nakhon Nayok Province

This research aims to 1. Study the level of opinions of the elderly on activities, expectations, and participation in the Bang Somboon Elderly School, Ongkharak District, Nakhon Nayok Province. 2. To present appropriate learning guidelines in the Bang Somboon Elderly School, Ongkharak District, Nakhon Nayok Province. A mixed research method was used, which incorporated the strengths of qualitative and quantitative research. The research instruments were in-depth interviews, group interviews, and questionnaires. The number of key informants was 15 people and the sample size was 100. Sample. The results were analyzed and presented using descriptive statistics.
The research results found that 1) The activities to the Bang Somboon Elderly School, Ongkharak District, Nakhon Nayok Province had an overall average value at a high level, ranked as activities outside the school, activities inside the school, and participation, respectively, with Most average value, consisting of activities of the Bang Somboon Elderly School in terms of religion/traditions, activities of the Bang Somboon Elderly School, field trips, activities of the Bang Somboon Elderly School, and visiting the elderly, respectively. 2) Appropriate learning guidelines for the elderly school in the context of the Bang Somboon Subdistrict, Ongkharak District, Nakhon Nayok Province 2.1. Development of the curriculum of the elderly school that must be consistent with the needs of those involved, learning strengths, weaknesses, and areas that should be continuously improved. 2.2. Development of the lives and well-being of the elderly to have a good quality of life, live with dignity, have potential, and be self-reliant for as long as possible. 2.3. The process of community participation and the creation of a community learning process by implementing actions that lead to a holistic quality of life for the elderly consisting of 4 dimensions: physical, mental, social, and intellectual.
