Publication Ethics
Roles and Responsibilities of Authors
1. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted manuscript is original and has not been previously published elsewhere, and that it is not a duplicate submission to another journal.
2. Authors must not plagiarize or copy the work of others.
3. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript appropriately cites the work of others, if any such work is used.
4. Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the guidelines for writing manuscripts.
5. Authors whose names appear in the manuscript must have genuinely contributed to the research.
6. Authors must identify the funding source (if any) and disclose any conflicts of interest (if any).
7. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the reference list in the manuscript has been thoroughly checked for accuracy in both format and content, both in the main text and the reference list.
8. If the manuscript involves research or experiments on humans or animals, which may affect the dignity, rights, safety, and well-being of individuals, a letter of ethical approval from the Human or Animal Ethics Committee must be attached. The approval for publication rests with the journal's editorial board, whose decision is final.
Roles and Responsibilities of Journal Editors
1. Editors are responsible for evaluating the quality of articles submitted for publication in the journal they oversee and will not publish articles that have been previously published elsewhere.
2. Editors are responsible for considering and publishing research that uses sound research methodology and yields reliable results.
3. Editors must not disclose the information of authors and reviewers to any other person not involved in the review process.
4. Editors must not have any conflicts of interest with authors or reviewers.
5. Editors must rigorously check articles for plagiarism and must suspend the review process and contact authors to decline publication if plagiarism is detected.
6. Editors must not claim any part or all of an article as their own work.
7. Editors should not be part of the authors of articles published in the journal to effectively oversee and control potential conflicts of interest.
8. Editors can withdraw an article without the author's consent if plagiarism or falsification of information is detected, even if the author refuses to withdraw the article.
Roles and Responsibilities of Reviewers
1. Reviewers must not disclose information from the article to any unrelated individuals from the time of acceptance for review until the article is published.
2. Reviewers must not have any conflicts of interest with the author. If unsure, they must inform the journal editor and decline to review the article.
3. Reviewers should consider accepting articles for review only in their areas of expertise. If any part of the article is similar to or duplicates other works, the reviewer must inform the editor.
4. Reviewers must immediately inform the editor if they discover any duplicate articles or articles that violate ethical standards in research publication.
