About the Journal

The Journal of Dhammaduta has the following objectives:

           1) To publish high-quality research papers, academic papers, book reviews, and review articles in the fields of social sciences and humanities by qualified faculty members and students.

        2) To promote academic knowledge in Buddhist studies, interdisciplinary approaches, creative works, Buddhist innovations, or the development of Dhammaduta Bhikkhus.

        3) To provide a platform for presenting the academic work of university staff and interested individuals.

 

Policy:

        1) Support the university's academic work in Buddhist studies, interdisciplinary approaches, and the development of Dhammaduta Bhikkhus.

        2) Create accurate knowledge and promote the intellectual development of Buddhist monks.

 

Types of Published Work in the Journal:

          1) Research Article: Presents research findings in various fields, including Buddhism, philosophy, sociology, law, political science, anthropology, history, geography, arts and culture, community development, education, psychology, and interdisciplinary applied human and social sciences.  

           2) Academic Article: Analyzes, critiques, or presents new ideas.

           3) Review Article and Book Review: Provide critical or explanatory perspectives on academic topics, with varying viewpoints.

           4) Special Article: Published on anniversaries or significant occasions.

 

Publication Schedule:

           The journal is published biannually, with 2 issues per year, each containing 5 articles. The publication dates are as follows:

                    Issue 1: January - June        

                    Issue 2: July - December

 

Peer Review

        The journal employs a peer review process, with articles being reviewed by at least two qualified reviewers in a double-blind peer-reviewed fashion. Articles from within the journal's organization are reviewed by external experts, while external articles are reviewed by internal or external experts in the respective field. Reviewers have no conflicts of interest with the authors.
