Abstract

This article aims to present policy recommendations for reducing the unemployment rate. The unemployment problem is regarded as an important economic problem of the country. Therefore, the government will determine the economic policy, namely fiscal policy, and monetary policy. Fiscal policy uses a deficit budget policy. By spending should spread the budget to the local area. Generate income for unemployed workers and monetary policy raise the policy interest rate gradually enter a level suitable for economic recovery. But be careful not to affect inflation, to reduce the impact of the unemployment rate in Thai society.  Economic Crisis and COVID-19 this reduced employment and resulted in unemployment problems. Therefore, the policy of opening the country to tourists, canceling the Thailand Pass, has resulted in the improvement of employment in tourism and service businesses. The government should support and promote SMEs with financial assistance measures, by moratorium providing low-interest loans and reducing conditions for access to financial institutions' funding sources. For entrepreneurs to have working capital to recover as a cog for further employment in the system.
