Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study patterns and characteristics of sexual harassment in online media and to study the conditions that affect the nature of sexual harassment in online media in the population of Muang District Phitsanulok Province Use qualitative research methodologies. The interview method was used to collect data. By selecting 6 main informants by purposive method and using the content analysis method.


          The results showed that 4 forms and characteristics of sexual harassment in online media are 1) Sexual bullying, 2) Sexual harassment, 3) Sexual coercion, and 4) Revenge indecency. For the conditions that affect the characteristics of sexual harassment in online media, they are 1) Appearance 2) Age 3) Gender 4) Dress 5) Education 6) Area and prevention guidelines. Sexual harassment in online media of each generation includes blocking or not responding. Dealing with a sexual harasser in this situation is Do not respond or block at all and opt for close friends. Don't accept strangers calling the police if you start to feel unsafe Call the police or someone close immediately. To avoid serious incidents Avoid going to risky areas such as isolated areas that are out of sight, and various nightlife destinations for policy recommendations, relevant agencies, especially educational institutions, should be provided. Organized activities to promote knowledge of sexual harassment in online media, its impact, and how to handle and prevent it in the right and appropriate situations.
