A STUDY OF THE WAY OF LIFE OF THE HOMELESS BY THE RAIWAY, NAI MUEANG SUB-DISTRICT, MUEANG DISTRICT, PHITSANULOK PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the in-depth characteristics of the homeless people along the railroad in phitsanulok province. Qualitative research methodology, phenomenology, the study is in phitsanulok Railway Station Using in-depth individual interviews with 10 homeless people, key informants were selected by purposive method, and content analysis method was used. phitsanulok Province Most of them can help themselves. He was born in phitsanulok Province, aged about 50-70 years. Most of the causes of becoming homeless were found in 3 mains: factors: Family factors caused by conflicts within the family that affected the state of psychological vulnerability. Occupation and income factors Homeless people have a career as a garbage collector and hired person, but there is no uncertain income. And family members do not support each other, they live, so these people leave the house and become homeless, and educational problems include access to job opportunities due to the level of education that is not very high, and some people do not study, making access to sources of occupation quite limited, resulting in unemployment and no agency to accept work. For suggestions to improve the quality of life for homeless people, government agencies should aid in developing and promoting occupations and incomes to be able to live on their own in the future.
