MOTIVATION BUILDING IN WORKING ACCORDING TO BUDDHIST PRINCIPLES

Abstract

With human nature struggling to survive during economic, social and political changes. Therefore, they must do activities or enter the labor market. Motivation is the power to incline people to be enthusiastic about their work resulting in 2 aspects as follows: 1) the success of the organization, and 2) workers progress in their duties, and career stability. This article is presenting the motivation for working according to the principles of Buddhism that is the use of the Seven Sappurisadhammas principle to create good people, to motivate the working performance, which are; 1) causes known is knowing the principles of operation, 2) purposes known is to learn or develop working skill, 3) self-known, is knowing self in performing work, 4) moderation known is having analysis potential and suitable of tasks assignment, 5) time known is having a clear plan for activities, 6) organization known is having clear goals of the organization and 7) personnel known is having recruited personnel into the organization with merit and advancement in their duties. In doing as already mentioned above, would create motivation for the work of the personnel.
